The Law Society Excellence Awards 2009
The outstanding achievements of the legal profession in England and Wales were celebrated by the Law Society at a prestigious ceremony which took place on 22 October 2009.
More than 550 leading lawyers and their guests joined the President of the Law Society and BBC Broadcaster Mishal Husain at the black tie dinner and presentation ceremony at the Royal Horticultural Halls in London.
The awards rewarded the most outstanding practitioners in their field and were open to individuals and teams across the entire legal sector. They are designed to recognise best practice and to celebrate excellence and outstanding achievement in areas that are central to the profession today. They highlight innovative business and quality of life practices, successful approaches to practice management as well as contributions through social responsibility and equality and diversity initiatives.
