The Law Society runs a series of free Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) regional networking groups twice a year, in association with 192business and Accuity.
The groups are for MLROs in law practices, their deputies and senior compliance staff. They are designed to facilitate discussions between local law practices about the challenges of anti-money laundering (AML) compliance and to enable the sharing of good practice.
The events are free and qualify for 2 hours CPD.
The next series will be held in June and July 2010. Dates and venues will be adverised in the AML update.
