The Law Society will be hosting its first full day anti-money laundering conference in London on 21 May 2009.
The conference will feature experts from the Law Society's Money Laundering Taskforce. The programme will cover a range of topics including:
- Risk assessment
- Setting up AML systems
- Getting staff engagement with training
- Warning signs
- Reporting obligations
Break out sessions are designed to cater to different sizes and types of practices
The conference will close with a drinks reception
